Ground Improvements, including stone columns and rigid inclusions, are a lower cost solution for increasing soil bearing pressures for foundation systems, building floor slabs, or other applications where bearing pressures of native soils do not meet project needs. Beaty Construction offers a design-build ground improvement system using various techniques designed to match the characteristics of the soil and the design needs of the structures to be supported.

Overview

Beaty Construction worked with Pepper Construction, Mussett, Nichols & Associates, and American Structurepoint to provide a ground improvements system that not only met the soil bearing pressure needs of the structure and equipment/machinery within the new structure, but also avoided conflicts with the numerous utility duct banks to be installed under the structure.
